John played at Compression last night and really rocked it. Played all, or mostly all, from vinyl (from what I could remember). Great set and is a reminder why he is a true DJ and consumate producer. Check out his new album as well.

Live @ Compression - 9/8/06 w/ Kenny Larkin

I opened up for Kenny and Kelvin Larkin at my techno/electro-ish night, Compression last night. I'm now using Live6 (beta 13, risky!) and my new drum machine, Jomox Xbase 999 sync'd up. Gotta love the Xone:3D mixer too as it also records my set back through Ableton Live while also acting as the MIDI controller. All through one USB cable. Sweet!

This is probably the last opening set I'll be posting for awhile since these types of sets usually are the building type, and I want to add some variety here. The next one I post will be more of my mid-headlining type or a headlining one.
